Privacy policy

We collect as little as we can. Visitors are counted anonymously; we only ask for an email when a business owner claims a page or someone posts to Lost & Found or Events.

What we collect

Anonymous activity — pages viewed and buttons tapped (for example “Chalein” or WhatsApp), with a random per-tab id, device type and approximate city. We do not store your IP address.
Ratings and votes — to allow one vote per visitor we keep a one-way scrambled code made from your network address and browser. It can’t be turned back into your IP.
“Roz ki khabar” subscribers — only your email and the topics you tick, saved after you confirm with a 6-digit code. We use it only to send those emails; every email has an unsubscribe button, and we never sell or share the list.
Business owners — the email you give to receive your page and to verify a claim, your answers in the onboarding chat, and anything you add to your page.
Lost & Found and Events — what you post, including the contact detail you choose to show publicly. Posts are reviewed before they appear and Lost & Found posts expire after 30 days.
Messages you send us on WhatsApp, phone or email.

Cookies and third parties

Google Analytics 4 measures visits in aggregate.
Google AdSense may show ads and use cookies to do so. You can manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
The Meta Pixel may be used to measure our own ads on Facebook and Instagram.
A small first-party cookie remembers which kinds of places you like, so the home page shows you more of them.
Cloudflare (hosting and bot protection), Supabase (database and sign-in emails) and Anthropic’s Claude (writing and checking content) process data for us.
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, an invisible check that tells people from bots. Its use is governed by the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum. Emails from us (codes, newsletter) are sent through Brevo.

How we use it

To run and improve the site, build and verify business pages, show what’s popular, keep spam out, and reply to you. We don’t sell or rent personal data.

Ask us to correct or delete your business page, a post, or your email at any time: sayhello@indirapuram.com or WhatsApp +91 96505 34931. Business listings built from public Google Maps or OpenStreetMap data can be corrected or removed on request by the owner.
